Unconformity
A contact between two rock types at which there is a gap in time
Disconformity
An unconformity in which the rocks above/ below the time gap possess the same attitudes
Non-conformity
An unconformity in which the rocks below the time gap are intrusive igneous and or metamorphic, whereas those rocks above the time gap are sedimentary/ extrusive igneous
Angular unconformity
An unconformity in which the rocks below the time gap have a different attitude from those rocks above the time gap
