I had never really read the bible, neither had my co-worker but I stepped up without being asked to, to make the message and the lesson while my co-worker helped me carry it out. This worked out well because my church was happy the children were not forgotten A pitfall I did have was when my fellow co-workers did not approve of my ideas for how the childrens lesson should be run when our boss was away and left me in charge, so I listened to their ideas and taught the lesson the way they wanted even if they didnt want to lead the lesson themsleves.
