What is the difference between behavioral and outcome goals - describe each and give an example of each.
Behavioral goals describe how you will act, what you will do. (a process) • I will eat 250 fewer calories and burn off 250 more calories every day for the next week. Outcome goals state a target you want to achieve. (a product) • I will lose a pound in one week.

What is the primary difference between how for health-related and skill-related fitness? Which is more important?
Health related fitness is directly related to good health and reduced risk of hypokinetic disease, so it is more important. Skill related fitness helps people perform at their peak. It is necessary for athletes and other performers who need physical prowess.
Many chronic diseases are due to lack of physical activity. What do we call those diseases?
Hypokinetic diseases. They include obesity, low back pain, heart disease and type 2 diabetes.
There is also something called metabolic fitness. What is that?
If you are metabolically fit, you have healthy levels of blood pressure, blood sugar, triglycerides and HDL cholesterol, and a healthy waist circumference.
What is 'metabolic syndrome'?
If you have unhealthy levels of at least 3 of the symptoms listed above, you have metabolic syndrome. If you are diagnosed with metabolic syndrome, you are at risk for developing chronic diseases such as obesity, hypertension, stroke and heart disease.
