Leauge of nation- WAS DUMB

America- The strongest nation never joined which made it weak as well.

Big bullies- In the beginning (1920's) the league only dealt with small countries which they could control. Then in the 1930's strong countries like Japan and Italy attacked weaker countries and they were to strong for the league. Also the countries in the league didn't want to go against them as they were worried about their own colonies and safety and did not want to start another war.

Depression- The depression caused many countries to refuse to invest in the league as they did not have money, and more countries worried about themselves.

M

Members- The members of the league let it down. Italy and Japan betrayed the league and britain and france did nothing to stop them.

S

Structure- The league took a very long time on making decisions as the members could not agree and the votes had to be unanimous.

U

Unsuccessful- when the league started to fail restoring peace, more and more countries started doubting it, and eventually most countries ignored it.

W

Weak- The league did not have a lot of power as it did not have an army.
