The air accumulator is charged by engine bleed air when rpm increases to 96%, pressing the STOP button opens the purge valve, and the residual fuel under accumulator air pressure enters the combustor and burns.

K2. PRESSURIZATION Where is the outflow valve located and how does it work?

It is located on the aft pressure bulkhead. The valve is used to control the flow of air out of the a/c by responding to pressurization control system through the pneumatic relay. Valve is opened by vacuum and closed by spring force. 7.25psi is set to open the valve regardless of the command.

It is mechanically connected to the fuel solenoid valve and the prop feather valve. When the knob is pulled it closes fuel solenoid valve before the feather valve opens. Pushing the engine stop and feather knob moves feather valve to normal position but fuel solenoid valve remain closes: start button is pushed to open the valve

L3. HYDRAULIC How is the hydraulics reservoir pressurized and how much psi on the system? How does it regulate?

It is pressurized by 31psi, regulated by bleed air

F26. POWERPLANT What is NTS lockout system?

It prevents negative torque sensing as an engine failure during landing rollout. Power lever aft of FLT IDLE, the NTS lockout valve opens and drains oil from prop, which resets the prop governor 5% higher. Because of valve opened, oil can't build up to move feather valve and supplies oil pressure through pitch control(PL) to operate the blades.

It tests to confirm proper operations of the cargo door latching system. When door is unlatched, DOOR UNSAFE illuminates. If all micro switches are in correct(open) position then green SWITCHES NORMAL light illuminates

F25. POWERPLANT Describe the NTS system

Negative torque(as a result of prop driving engine, i.e. loss of engine power)system provides for automatic drag reduction. When NTS sensed, it closes NTS valve, it makes oil pressure to build up and moves the feathering valve, dumping oil from the prop servo piston(prop hub) through the feathering valve to gearcase. The increasing blade angle removes negative torque, and the NTS valve opens again, resulting in the feather valve moving back normal under the influence of spring.

The pressure pump draws oil from the tank and supplies it under pressure to the oil filter, then to each item. Two scavenge pumps in the gearcase are used to scavenge the oil back to the tank via fuel heater and oil cooler. The rear turbine bearing has its own scavenge pump.

The safety dump valve is located on the left side of the forward pressure bulkhead. The valve is opened by vacuum and is spring loaded closed. It is also opened by a solenoid-operated control valve. There is a squat switch on right landing gear, opened on ground and closes after takeoff if the switch is selected to be NORM

Yes they are mechanically interconnected

Yes we may try once. First turn off the generator, then select voltmeter. If not normal, reset. If normal try to connect it. If generator will not connect after being reset then call maintenance(no further action is possible)

Yes, moving the flap lever to the full up position should pass the logic box and permitting retraction in event certain logic circuit fail

Yes, through the sight glass fluid level indicator
