How do perceptions of trust in relationships evolve over time?

At the start, most of us use disposition-based trust to form our evaluations. Over time, we supplement that with cognition-based trust, and, for some, we form an emotional bond with them and rely on affect-based trust

In what three sources can trust be rooted? (disposition, affect, cognitive)

Disposition based meaning one's personality includes a general propensity to trust others. Cognitive based meaning its rooted in a rational assessment of the authority's trustworthiness. Affect-based meaning its rooted in the feeling towards the authority
