What is a project charter?
a document issued by the project sponsor that authorizes the project and commits funds for the project.
What is a statement of work?
a document that outlines the major tasks the customer wants the contractor to perform to accomplish the project scope and produce all the deliverables
What is project selection?
involves evaluating potential projects and then deciding and which of these should move forward and to be implemented.
What is a request for proposal?
is a document prepared by the sponsor or customer which defines the project requirements and is used to solicit proposals from potential contractors to do the project

What are customer requirements?
the functional, operational, and performance specifications or capabilities that are outlined by the customer.
What is acceptance criteria?
the quantitative criteria that the customer or sponsor uses to validate that a deliverable meets the customer's requirements or expectations that serve as the basis for the customer's acceptance of the deliverables.
What are deliverables?
the tangible items that the contractor is to provide during and at the completion of the project.
