Scene 8 - The Flower Garden
FLOWER3: Nuh-uh! Foxglove is the most fun! [flowers talk and yell over each other]
Excuse me! Excuse me! I am so very sorry, but I do not have time for a song! Have you seen a rabbit anywhere?
FLOWER1: No, no! She's lying, you fools! She's a weed!
No I am not! And you do not have to kick me out! I am going! I think I have developed a pollen allergy.
FLOWER2: We do not want you! Out! Out! Out!
No! Do not push me this way, the trees made it so dark!
ALL FLOWERS: A weed! A weed! Get out weed, get out!
No, no! I am not a weed! I am a human, a girl! An...Alice!
NARRATOR: Alice walked for a long while. She noticed, as she walked, fields and garden of beautiful flowers, filled with colors so bright, it hurt her eyes. She stopped when she stumbled upon a patch of flowers and other plants, of the likes she had never seen!
What a beautiful flower bed! I have never seen such vibrant tulips!
