If you are under 18, you are required to:

- have completed or be enrolled in an approved behind-the-wheel driver ed course which begins within 60 days of the date your driver ed instructor certifies your application.

How long is your instruction permit valid for?

Restrictions of the Instruction Permit

(If you are under 18, this person must be designated in writing by your parent or guardian prior to accompanying you while driving a vehicle.)
