The chicago school theory or social disorganization theory is a macro level theory. This theory began in chicago when deviance and crime was high and something needed to be understood about what needs to be done. This theory explained the farther you went out from the main city the less crime happens and the closer you get to the city the move violence and crime happens. White-Collar crimes have many advantages over street criminals. The first advantage is that it is more difficult to catch these criminals. White collar crime there is little to no witnesses around when these crimes occur. Another advantage is those who commit white collar crimes tend to be at a higher class than those of street crimes.
