Bony Callus Formation: -Fibrocartilaginous callus converted to spongy bone (bony callus) -Lasts 3-4 months

Fibrocartilaginous callus formation: -Fibrocartilaginous callus (mass of repair tissue consisting of collagen fibers and cartilage that bridges broken ends of bone) -Takes about 3 weeks

Formation of Fracture Hematoma: -Blood vessels crossing fracture line broken -Blood leaks out blood clot forms around site of fracture (fracture hematoma) -6-8 hours after injury(Possibly several weeks)
