Afro-Eurasian diseases infected the native population of the Americas, for which the American Indians had no immunities. The massive de-population of the Americas allowed Europeans to colonize and take over the American continents. Plants from the Americas provided a great new source of calories for Europeans and the European population significantly increases. The surplus population of Europe migrated and colonized the Americas.

American Indians would burn the old grass that the domesticated animals had already eaten. When they would burn the grass it would grow back faster and healthier. This way the domesticated animals would have a adequate supply of healthy grass.
