According to Greek myth, the original Cassandra was a princess of ancient Troy. She was very beautiful and when Apollo, god of the sun, fell in love with her, she rejected him. Apollo became angry and placed a curse on her which gave her the power to predict the future. So Cass is an expert in all things terrible and she see evidence of them everywhere.

Another box. When Cass opened the box it was upholstered in purple velvet. The were dozens of sparkling crystal vials. Most of them contain liquids in a variety of colors, other vials were filled with powders. They thought it was some kind of chemistry set.
