What is an Autotransformer?
One Winding that acts as a primary and secondary Winding. Can be fixed or variable.
What is a Center Tap Transformer?
One primary Winding and One secondary Winding. However the secondary is divided into two equal outputs. Can be stepped up or down
What is a Multi Secondary Transformer?
One primary Winding and multiple secondary Windings, used to supply different output voltages from one source. Can be stepped up or down

Varying voltage/Current in the primary causes a voltage to be induced into the secondary.
