Homogeneous
A Homogeneous Mixture is "well mixed" the particles that make up the mixture are very small and not easily recognizable; Homogeneous a mixture that appears to be the same throughout is said to be Homogeneous.
Solution
A solution is a type of homogeneous mixture formed when one substance dissolves in another ; the "Best mixed" of all mixtures.
Soluble
A substance that dissolves in water is said to be soluble.
Insoluble
A substance that does not dissolve in water is said to be insoluble.
Alloy
Alloys are metal solutions in which solids are dissolved in solids.
Heterogeneous
Heterogeneous is the "least mixed" of mixtures are large enough to be seen and to be separated from the mixture.
Mixture
Matter that consists of two or more substances mixed together but not chemically combined is called a mixture; a mixture is a combination of substances; each substance that makes up a mixture has its own specific properties and is the same through out; But the the mixture as a hole is not the same throughout.

Solute
The substance that is dissolved is called the a Solute.
Solvent
The substance that is dissolving is called a solvent .
Colloid
