Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)
federal law passed in 1970, requires employers to keep records about safety practices and incidents. Must keep track of illnesses and injuries and must conduct periodic inspections to ensure workplace safety. Employers must provide info and keep employees informed of protections and safety obligations.

An OSHA required document that describes the nature of a hazardous chemical and methods of preventing and treating injuries related to the chemical
