ADA sets the rules and standards then universal or inclusive design integrates and applies them into the design

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Legislation passed in 1990 that prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities. Under this Act, discrimination against a disabled person is illegal in employment, transportation, public accommodations, communications and government activities.

Some factor that restricts the scope of activity or accomplishment.

Universal Design

The art and practice of design to accomodate the widest variety of number of people throughout their lifetime

Wayfinding

The process of using spatial and environmental information to navigate to a destination.
