What is the difference between arteries and veins?

Arteries: carry oxygenated blood to the body (exception pulmonary ) Veins: carry deoxygenated blood back to the heart (exception pulmonary)

The blood then goes back through the pulmonary veins (oxygenated), and the through the left atrium (oxygenated), the blood is then pumped through the left ventricle (oxygenated), and then through the aorta (oxygenated) to the rest of the body, and then, the cycle is repeated.

Where does the deoxygenated blood go after it has reached the right atrium through the superior and inferior vena cava?

The deoxygenated blood then flows to the right ventricle, and then through the pulmonary artery to the lungs, where it is enriched with oxygen we breathe in, and loses (deposits) carbon dioxide, so we can breathe it out.

The left ventricle, and because it has to push blood to the rest of the body.

The superior vena cava is above the inferior vena cava. (Superior means above, and inferior means below)

Veins, because deoxygenated blood flows through them.
