3 criteria for evaluating healthcare information on the internent are source, author, and privacy. The source of the information must be reliable and trustworthy, providing correct and helpful information to the researcher. Therefore, a medical database such as MedLine should be used to find these types of reliabe articles. For the information to be trustworthy, the author must come from a place of clinicle expertise. This will insure the reasercher is being provided with accurate information that will answer their questions. They may want to look into the credentials and affiliations of the author to ensure their readability. Privacy is a final criteria for evaluating trustworthy information. When reserching it is important that no information about the researcher is disclosed, leaving them with the search results they are loking for with no data that they personally looked at a specific article or made a specific search.
