Dad's Speech
From your first steps, to your first day of school, to riding a bike, to so many things, you have told me,"Daddy I want to do it by myself", and you have. The list is long, but the result is always the same, I love you and I am proud of you.
With that, I would like to say, Love is kind. We have all heard this reading and for me it never gets old because it's the truth. When Mallory comes home from delivering multiple babies and Ryan has ran way too many samples, love is kind.
Times when Ryan has been another big brother to Jonah and sometimes even to Izzy, and being like a partner in crime to Lucas. Through all the good and the bad times, are all examples of love is kind.
Mallory Ryan, always remember to be kind to one another and keep God In your life.
When you have kids, and you will, and they try you till you're last nerve is shot, and they will, love is kind. When you don't know what to do next and the light at the end of your tunnel is no where in sight, love is kind. When Ryan has duck feathers all over the house that Mal just cleaned or when Mal runs the car into the house, love is kind. When times are good bask in them.
Mallory and Ryan, you have already lived out examples of this. It has been my pleasure to watch your love grow through the back yard fires, the proms, the graduations, first jobs, and new jobs.
Before we go any further or get lost in the festivities and craziness. On behalf of Amy & I, Ryan, I would like to welcome you to the family.
Mallory, I would like to take this time to tell you I love you more than you will ever know and congratulations on the next step in adult hood. I have been proud of you and in love with you ever since you came out of your Mama and your big brown eyes were opened, looking around to see what's next. And that's how your life has always been.
Good evening everyone I am Michael Babin, father of the bride, Husband of Amy, Father of some wonderful children, and Lucas.
Thank you Lynn & Dave for this nice rehearsal dinner, and for all you have done this year to make everything so nice. Your hard work and generosity has been next level. Also, a special thanks to the bridesmaids and the groomsmen, you too have been great at making this wedding special during these crazy times. Your willingness to help and hard work will not be forgotten. Also, another thank you to all the family members and friends who have donated their time and talents behind the scenes.
