How is Mumbai going to change for the future?

Make a plan is to redevelop the Dharavi to improve conditions for the slum dwellers but also to make better use of one of the most valuable areas of land in Mumbai. Another plan is to redevelop the slum into retail and business area and to rehouse the slum dwellers into new high flats built on the edge of the city. Many residents don't like this as they will be far too far from jobs in the centre and won't be able to forward the transport costs.

What has caused Mumbai growth and success?

Many migrants moving in looking for jobs, for an Indian company setting up factories and call centres to take advantage of the cheaper labour, none by sport is an excellent for importing and exporting goods all over the world, it has excellent links to trade with the rest of India, and the flat land makes it ideal for building factories

Men by is built on flat land near the coast which used to be covered in dense rainforest, hence the leopards, monkeys, mongooses and wild boar. Where is Mumbai?

Mumbai is a port on the west coast of India next to the Indian Ocean in the state of Maharashtra with a population of about 12.5 million. It is the largest and richest city in India, but it also has extreme poverty. It has a natural harbour making its next event location for trade.

Nariman point

Nariman point is the south of the city is banking and financial centre of India with headquarters of the Bombay stock it's strange I must of bank of India. It also has the headquarters of the tarsi group which is a massive Indian multinational making steel, cars, tea et cetera. It owns Land Rover, Jaguar and Tetley tea.
