What prompted you to apply for this job? What interested you the most about this position?

I applied for this job because it is something that I am very comfortable with and it requires skills that I have great experience with. It interested me because of its general computer and hands on work.

Tell me about a time when you had to overcome a major obstacle that stood in the way of you accomplishing a goal or commitment. How did you approach the situation?

A time that I had to overcome a major obstacle was when I was in the Boy Scouts. We went to a camp out near mt hood in the snow. It was already dark when we got there so we had to set up our tents so we could settle in for the night. I prepared to set up my tent and I had realized I had forgotten my tent poles at home. After communicating with my peers and getting turned down by numerous people, I ended up sleeping under my friends hammock tarp. The take away from this being that I can communicate to adapt and overcome obstacles that stand in front of me.

How do you go about continuing to develop your professional skills and knowledge?

I think continuing to develop professional skills and knowledge is one of the most important reasons to get a job. This helps to make yourself a better person and obtain new skills to help you in life.

How would your current boss/teacher describe your work and contribution?

I think they would describe me as a someone who works hard to achieve his goals and greater heights.

How would your coworkers (or other students you work with) at your current job/school describe your interaction with them and your general effectiveness in your work/group performance? How would your coworkers/fellow students describe you?

I think they would describe me as someone who pushes to do the best I can to be successful. And that I pull my own weight when it comes to group work.

What kind of oversight and interaction would your ideal boss provide?

The oversight and interaction that my ideal boss would provide is one that is one that is a leader rather than just our boss. One that will provide help and criticisms to help us improve.

Describe the work environment in which you will most effectively be able to contribute.

The work environment in which I would most effectively be able to contribute is an environment where I can communicate and work with others.

What are the three most important attributes or skills that you believe you would bring to our company if we hired you?

Three attributes or skills that I possess that I believe would be important for this company is my great knowledge of computers, most programs and general knowledge of the programming language, python. I have also built my own computer. Other than that, I have good communication skills and work greatly with a team.
