I was working as part of a team when the manager informed us that a deadline we had on a project had been cut and now needed to be completed in 3 days. I approached the situation by remaining positive, and putting in extra hours as needed to get the work done on time and also by motivating the other members of the team to do the same.
An example of a difficult situation you faced in a previous job and how you felt with it?
I will be patient, understanding and kind.
How are you going to help take the workload off of the processors?
I stated the decision, explained the reasons and factors involved and provided options and alternatives they can explore.
How did you handle delivering difficult news to a customer?
Prioritizing which tasks are most important and by date they have to be completed by. Then work hard to get the task done within the set timeframe.
How do you manage a difficult day?
If faced with an irate customer I would listen and let them know I understand where they are coming from, try to de-escalate the situation and narrow down the problem and solution to their problem.
How would you deal with an irate customer?
I would rate myself an 8. I am very familiar with Microsoft programs, and word processing programs. I'm also very proficient at the cloud based point of sale program that I used in my current role. I rate myself an 8 because I have room to grow in learning the software in the banking industry but I feel very comfortable in my ability to learn quickly if hired for Frost Bank.
How would you rate your ability to learn new software programs on a scale of 1 to 10?
In my most current role, I would use a checklist of my duties and would start working on that list as soon as my day started. I had it prioritized by most urgent needs from the top. This method was very useful and I wouldn't hesitate to use something similar if hired for this role.

I'm extremely comfortable working in a team environment. Regardless of the role I'm put in, I utilize my reliability, communication skills, positive attitude and outgoing personality so that I can become a key contributor."
Are you a team player?
I'm going to focus on my most current role but let me know if you want me to expand on anything. Ive been a title clerk for the past 2 1/2 years for two private companies. Through my time as title clerk , I've really excelled at delivering before deadlines. What Ive enjoyed most is the challenge of solving customer problems. Some of my transferable skills are teamwork, managing competing priorities, handling large volumes of work and my attention to detail. Among some of my responsibilities was data entry, operating a cloud based point of sale system, assisting with title transfers, corrections, adding of liens, as well as making sure all documentation was present before processing. I believe this experience and training has prepared me to take the next step in my career path.

Do you have any questions for me/us?
Raising my family, looking after ill relative. The time I had off enabled me to improve my existing skill set and I know believe I am a much better and more focused employee for that experience.
Explain the gaps in your work history?
I was discussing how to complete a task with a co worker in a previous role and they suggested we cut corners because our manager would never find out. It was my job to not only say no, but to explain the dangers of not doing things to the right standard. When I challenged my co worker she became very defensive and told me to lighten up. I stood my ground and I explained how we both had a responsibility to do things the right way. This was our job and we should take pride in how we completed our tasks. Eventually she came around to my way of thinking and apologized for being unprofessional. I am not afraid to deal with conflict and I will always do the right thing in any given situation.
Tell me about a time you had a conflict in a team?
While working at a previous job I helped a customer who was having a problem choosing a product specific to their needs. I spent time explaining the products we had available, and which ones in my opinion would be most suited to her needs. Although it took me longer than usual to help the customer, I felt it was important to provide outstanding customer service. The customer thanked me for taking the time to explain the products to her, and she went away and left a positive review online.

I can do the work you need me to do, and I can deliver exceptional results. I will fit in seamlessly and be a great addition to your team. If salary range is 21,000 to 27,000 day you believe you are worth the top range of 27,000 but that you are prepared to take slightly lower 25,000 as I understand I have to prove that I will be a great fit for the role.
What are your salary expectations?
There wasn't anything I disliked, I simply wanted a new challenge and opportunity for growth
What didn't you like about your last job?
I have been criticized before for my inability to say no to people. I'm usually the first person to volunteer to do additional tasks and I sometimes get overloaded with work.

I love traveling and doing outdoorsy things with our family.

What is it about this job that your particularly attracted to?
My greatest achievement has to be the time I worked as part of a team to secure additional sales contracts for my employer. We'd worked really hard as part of a team to win the contracts and it put our employer in a great position for the future.
What is your greatest career achievement to date?
My ideal company to work for is a medium to large sized company that offers a strong growth plan for dedicated employees. Ideally, I am seeking an organization that values their community and gives back. A positive culture is very important to me.

What motivates you?
I would tackle the situation with the goal to resolve any conflict quickly. However if that can't be sorted out I would act with professionalism at all times and do all I could to get along with that person for the sake of the team.
What would you do if you don't get along with someone on your team.
I would concentrate on 3 things. I will gather as much information as possible if what is expected of me and standards I need to work to. Secondly I will get to know my team so I could understand the type of things I could do to start contributing to the organizations goals quickly. Finally I will work to complete my first important task or project, and then deliver it to the highest standard possible.
What would you do in the first 30 days of starting?
Following a team meeting I disagreed with a proposal my manager made. I decided to speak to her in private and offer an alternative suggestion. I explained to her in a respectful and and professional manner, the reasons why I disagreed with her and that I thought it was worth considering the option I had came up with. She listened to my suggestions but decided not to go ahead with them, which I totally respected. I think it's always good to say if you disagree with something, as long as you put the needs of the company first and you do it with respect and professionalism.
When have you had a disagreement with your manager?
In my role as title clerk we allocated team tasks according to each other's strengths, we supported each other managing and juggling phone , online and in person inquiries as well as packets of title work via in person and mail. We all tackled our duties as a team effort equally.
When have you worked as part of a team?
I expect to be competent in the role and well respected by my work colleagues, supervisors and peers. I would also be willing to help train up other people in similar roles to myself due to the length of time and experience I would have gained.

First and foremost my resume is a match for the role.
