It illustrates the process of giving and receiving feedback. It's a model for self-awareness, personal development, group development and understanding relationship.

What affects how much information we reveal to people?
Our self image will affect how much information we reveal to people (self- disclosure) and how we respond to other people's reactions (feedback). (The self image of any individual lies at the core of his or her way of seeing and relating to the world- both the way they interpret the world and act towards it).
