Measurement is determining a description or amount of some property of an object that is ofinterest to the researcher.Marketing researchers are measuring properties --- sometimes called characteristics, attributes,or qualities --- of objects.Properties are the specific features or characteristics of an object that can be used to distinguishIt from another object. There are three categories of consumer characteristics that are of interest to marketing researchers and that can be measured and collected through questionnaires. 1.
