Mean, Median , Mode, and Range definitions
Median
Is the middle value of an odd number of data items arranged in order, for an even number of data items, the median is the mean of two middle values
Lower quartile
The median of the lower half
Upper quartile
The median of the upper half
Mean
The sum of the data values divided by the number of data items
Mode
The value or values that occur most often, when all the data values occur the same number of times, there is no mode
Box and whisker plots
Uses a number line to show the distribution of a set of data
Interquartile range
A data set is the difference between the upper quartiles, it tells how large the spread of data around the median is
Range
A set of data is the difference between the greatest and least values
