What is a transcript?
A word for word writing of a conversation where one person asks questions and another person answers them.
What is a biography?
A writer's account of another person's life. The subject of the biography is usually well-known, famous, or maybe even infamous. The general idea is for the story to be a balanced (neither too positive or toonegative) look at that person's entire life.
What is an essay?
An essay is a short piece of writing on a single subject.
What are the two types of essays?
Formal (meaning they are tightly structured and have an impersonal style) and informal (they are looser and show more personal style).
What are the common elements of autobiographical fiction?
It is written in the first person using the pronouns me and I. It draws upon real elements or episodes from the author's life. It often emphasizes emotional qualities. The point of view is from someone reflecting on the past.

What is an autobiography?
When someone writes about personal experiences from their own entire life. Sometimes the person will just focus on one event or experience from his/her life, and when that happens it is a personal narrative or memoir.

a conversation in which one person asks questions to another person to obtain information.

a story that is based on real experiences, but maybe some of the names or facts have changed.

an essay that expresses the writer's thoughts and feelings about a topic
