External vs. internal perspective

The internal perspective looks at workers' minds to understand their behavior. It helps to understand human behavior in terms of thoughts, feelings, past experiences, and needs of the individual. It says people are best understood from the inside and that their behavior is best interpreted alongside their thoughts and feelings.
