Multicellular organisms are made of many cells while unicellular organisms are made of a single, or one cell. Examples of a multicellular organism are humans and animals. Examples of an unicellular organisms are amoeba and diatoms/many protists.

They are found in multicellular organisms and different cells have different functions/jobs
