How is a separation different from a divorce?
In a separation, the spouses are still legally married and trying to work out their problems, as opposed to divorce, in which they are no longer married and have failed to work out their problems.
Physical abuse
Intentionally causing physical harm to another person
Briefly describe physical abuse, sexual abuse, and emotional abuse.
Physical abuse is another person intentionally inflicting harm on another, sexual abuse is the sexual exploitation of children by adults, and emotional abuse is nonphysical mistreatment of a person.
Runaway
A child who leaves home without permission and stays away for at least one night, or two nights for teens 15 or older

A criminal offense in which an adult uses a child or adolescent for sexual purposes
Neglect
Adults failing to provide for the basic needs of children
