I'm a good creative writer, and I like poetry. So to overcome the challenge of time limits, I came up with this idea: a haiku journal! I knew I could write haiku. I can write the poems in fewer than five minutes when I get home. When writing, I identify my emotions and express how I felt each day. I don't critique or edit what I write. Writing helps me unwind from work and feel more present at home. "I sometimes share the haiku with my husband before dinner. He says that the haiku help him understand things about my day that the usual recounting of events often doesn't. Sometimes the haiku are funny or happy; sometimes they are sad. Once in a while, they express anger or frustration. It has been revealing and has given me a lot to think about." Which self-awareness skills is Maya applying? (Select all that apply.) I realized I was angry and frustrated and shouldn't reply in that moment. I breathed deeply and took a short walk to think. "I requested a meeting with my manager to ask for help. I planned what I would ask and thought of how I could help solve the problem. As my manager told me more about the program, I could see why it was a good idea. I value learning at work and know I'm good at explaining the technical parts of a program. I said I could learn the program really well and knew that I would be a great team lead.
