Sale Order Event

A mutually commitment event where the enterprise agrees to deliver goods to a customer and the customer pays for goods symbolized by sale order document or date entry screen (e.g. order data, promised delivery date, payment terms, dollar amount, which sales representative and customer participated, what products were ordered, etc.) data to record it is entered into sale order, reservation, and sales call-sale order fulfillment table (if separate table)

Customer Inquiry Event

An instigation event that is externally initiated; typically involves a customer contacting the enterprise to inquire as to pricing or availability of products or services data is not typically captured for this event

Sales Call Event

An instigation event that is internally initiated; typically involves a sales representative calling on a customer to describe features of goods or services symbolized by a sales call report document or data entry screen (e.g. which sales representative and customer participated, date, start time, end time, location, what products and/or services were presented to the customer and their reactions, etc.) data to record it is entered into the sales call and proposition tables
