1. Aldi Center of Education 2. Program used to train all associated the standard, responsibilities, duties, ethics, and beliefs behind the principles in which they operate

AMS

1. Aldi Management System 2. System that outlines the lead ship qualities and responsibilities our management team has to its staff, vendors, and customers

CGO-S

1. Computer Generated Orders - Stores 2. Computer program that orders product for stores based on store management inputs such as the amount of stock the shelf will hold. The system generates orders based on current stock on hand and previous product movement trends.

CDN

1. Consolidated Delivery Note 2. Document used to check in pallets delivered from the divisional warehouse

EOD

1. End of Day 2. Last step for a closing manager resetting the computer to be read to start the next day's sales

LPC

1. Local Price Change 2. Any mark downs or competitive price changes that take place on a store level only not company wide - based on your story

MDT

1. Mobile Data Terminal 2. Device used to order product and count inventory

MDU

1. Multi-Desk Units 2. Open front refrigerated 3 or 4 shelf units that display cooler items (produce, meat)

NLU

1. Number Look Up 2. These are one or two digit numbers that are given to larger items to be keyed in by cashiers in order to avoid lifting them more than necessary and expedite checkkout for customers

OPC

1. Official Price Change 2. Any mark downs on prices that take place company wide and are usually communicated through the daily bulletin

PIP

1. Perpetual Inventory Program 2. Inventory counte twice per month that enables stores t measure waste/loss results in order to improve ordering and handling practices going forward

1. Point of Sale 2. Register system where customer transactions are processed

1. Special Buy 2. Special Buy items are limited time, while supplies last food and non-food items that ship to stores each week and are advertised to drive customers to our stores. Many items are seasonally relevant and help customers meet their shopping needs throughout the year.
