Tell me about yourself

I grew up in Duvall Washington and after graduating from high school I was planning on going to a college in Rhode island to join the wrestling team and study criminology; but after taking some time to reflect and think about my career path I realized that wrestling was not something that I wanted to pursue anymore as I have been doing it for 12 years and I really wanted a change. So, I decided to go to the University of Washington where I am now studying Finance with a Minor in Economics. and when I first came to the University of Washington I really wanted to expand my network and get to know more people so i made the decision to join a fraternity. For me, this was one of my best decisions I made early on in my college career as I made many friends along the way, had mentors, and was able to hold various leadership roles that helped with my leadership development. I then wanted to start getting involved on campus more so i made the decision to join the Professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, and the husky sales club. In these clubs I again held various leadership roles that attributed to my professional and personal development; and it was because of these leadership roles that I have held since my freshman year of college that I was able to land my first few internships. First as a sales management intern with Sherwin Williams, and most recently as a Project accountant Intern with WSP. Looking towards post graduation I am looking to work for a company where I can continue this professional and personal development as I am always searching for ways to grow and gain new skills. and finally looking towards my future I plan on working for a few years and then eventually go back to school to get an MBA and my CFA.

Name two strengths and weaknesses you have

Strengths -Organization (always planning ahead) -Leadership (Always taking the leadership role) -People person Weaknesses -Get stressed (Learning to streamline multiple tasks in a way that lowers my stress level). -Delegation (working on this)

How do you decide how much you should push in conflict situations with teams?

When it comes to working in teams when conflicts arise I believe its critical to be open to all suggestions and ideas in order to effectively and efficiently address and analyze all options on the table in order to move forward with the best outcome for the project that the team is working on, and then from there take a vote as everyone on the team should have a voice on the final outcome

Describe a difficult task you were faced with and how you addressed it.
