Smart Guides

PowerPoint displays SMART GUIDES automatically when a photo, illustration, shape, or other object is close to lining up with another slide element.

Resizing

RESIZING includes enlarging or reducing the size of a graphic.

Slide Pane

The large area in the middle, called the SLIDE PANE, displays the slide you currently are developing and allows you to enter text,tables, charts, graphics, pictures, video, and other elements

STYLE indicates how the characters are formatted.

Notes Pane

The NOTES PANE, by default, is hidden at the bottom of the window.

Deck

The collection of slides in a presentation is called a DECK, resembling a deck of cards that are stacked on top of each other.

Title Show

When you open a new presentation, the default TITLE SLIDE layout appears.
