-It is typically the work of senior management or often strategy consultants. -However business analysts should have access to information about organization's business strategy and are expected to understand it. -BAs often have to recommend and design tactics that will deliver the business objectives and strategy, typically the process and IT system solutions -Some business analyst roles may require strategic level thinking
