Ways to make night driving safer
Don't over drive your headlights Keep your speed low enough to be able to stop in the distance you can see ahead When passing vehicles, do not stare at their headlights.
Key to driving defensively
Don't trust the other driver to do what you think he is going to do, or what would you do in his place
When not to use your horn

Trucks blind spot
Never follow a truck behind or on the sides and allow them to back up at loading docks, they cannot see you.
Bad information
Safety belts can trap you inside of a car, safety belts are good on long trips but I do not need them when driving around town, some people are clear thrown in a crash and walk away with hardly a scratch, if I get hit from the side I am better off being thrown across the car away from the crash point.
What do you do at a yield?
Slow and watch for traffic
Ways to save fuel
Take public transportation, carpool, avoid driving during heavy traffic, plan and combine trips, call ahead to make sure they have what you need.
blind spot
The area you cannot see out of your mirror
