How does Frankenstein receive solace from his troubles and restoration in Chapters 9 and 10? How is this a Romantic notion?

Frankenstein thinks that he has to go to hell for what he has done. David is asking for forgiveness from God for what he has done. I think that Frankenstein should ask God to forgive him for what he did and what has happened. David is making the right decision asking God for forgiveness.

Frankenstein's brother, William, is dead.

In Chapter 7, Frankenstein says that he "was destined to become the most wretched of human beings." What is ironic about this statement?

He created the worst thing possible, but he wanted to be great but was now the worst.

I agree because he was so selfish when making the monster. He was selfish when he didn't confess about the monster, to save his image. I think if he wasn't so selfish in the beginning with his satisfaction with the monster and instead spent time with his family, no one would have died.

Who stands accused of the crime? Why was she suspected?

Justine was accused because they found a picture in her pocket. She was a housekeeper.

Why does Justine confess to the murder?

People don't come to justify and Victor won't confess. People are asking a lot of questions. She was threatened and pressured.

Why does Elizabeth blame herself for the tragedy?

She let him wear an expensive necklace from his mother. She thought the killer was after the necklace.

Describe Justine's attitude toward her impending execution.

She was really scared to die.
