Geometry Terms: Concurrent Lines
Euler Line
A line that always contains the Circumcenter, orthocenter and the centroid. The line contains the incenter only in certain triangles
Euler Segment
Part of the Euler line with the circumcenter and orthocenter as its endpoints. The centroid divides the it into two segments that are in a ratio of 2:1
Centroid
The point of concurrency of the three medians of the triangle -it is known as the center of massor the center of gravity -it divides each median into two segments that are in a ratio of 2:1
Concurrent Lines
Three or more lines that intersect at a single point
Orthocenter
the point of concurrency of the three altitudes of the triangle -in a right triangle, it is located at the vertex of the right angle
Circumcenter
the point of concurrency of the three perpendicular bisectors of the sides of a triangle -It is the point that is equidistant from the three vertices of the trangle -it is the center of the circle curcumscribed about the triangle -in a right trangle, it is located at the midpoint of the hypotenuse.
Incenter
ther point of concurrency of the three angle bisectors of a triangle -it is the point that is equidistant from the three sides of the triangle -it is the center of the circle that is inscribed inside the triangle
