At The Habit Burger Grill we put a great deal of value on customer service. How would you describe your customer service skills?

As an intern at Youth Beat, one part of the job was to work with a plethora of clients, so we had to be attentive and courteous to them. So I've learned to be friendly, treat them with respect, and always make sure they were satisfied with what they were getting.

When you suffer a setback, how does that emotionally affect you and your work?

Dealing with emotions such as loss or tragedy is hard. However, you still have to work, and you still have to do a job. I'll attempt to separate emotions from work and if needed, take time off to heal so that I can perform well when I come back.

When have you been asked to perform a function or complete a task in which you had little or no experience in doing?

During my time in Youth Beat, we work with an abundance of cameras that have different buttons and controls. There was also when transitioning from a first year to an intern; we had to work with a new editing program. Both were frustrating, but I've overcome them. For new experiences, I'll try my best and ask for help when needed.

The casual dining industry is very competitive, and turnover can be high. Why do you want to work for The Habit Burger Grill over any of our competitors?

At The Habit Burger Grill, we handle many cash transactions throughout the day. Do you consider yourself responsible and trustworthy? Give me an example.

I can't even think about doing that, as it's just plain out wrong and I've been taught better. I would take the money and give back the same exact change.

At The Habit Burger Grill we put a lot of pride in the cleanliness of our restaurants. How important is cleanliness to you?

I think it's important since keeping things nice and clean can definitely improve your quality of service. For me, I don't want to spend 5 minutes looking through my backpack to find a crumbly piece of paper to work on.

How do you handle stress?

I would distance myself from the source of my stress and do activities that I enjoy such as gaming or hanging out with friends.

Rate your communication skills from 1-10 with proper examples backing your given rating.

I would say my communication skills would land an 8 out of 10 because my friends and colleges consider me sociable and the usual initiators of conversations. However, I consider myself an ambivert. Some days I can be a social butterfly, but other days I'm not out there.
