What happens in your brain and body when the alarm stage begins?
the hypothalamus, a small area at the base of the brain, receives danger signals from other parts of the brain and the hypothalamus releases a hormone that acts on the pituitary gland
stress
the reaction of the body and mind to everyday challenges and demands.
exhaustion stage
the stage where your body and mind can no longer adapt to the stress and you lose your ability to manage the stress
