More kids are going to school and fewer are dying. Now these countries want to build on the many successes of the past 15 years, and go further. The World Health Organization (WHO)

It is a specialized agency of the United Nations that is concerned with international public health. Global health initiatives are launch by the WHO to raise and disburse additional funds for infectious diseases, such as AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria; for immunization; and for strengthening health systems in developing countries. One of the Global Health initiatives is the development of Millennium Development Goals.
