Bevel Heel
the opposite of a bevel; the rounded bottom part of the needle
Shaft
the part of the needle between the bevel heel & the hub
Hub
the part of the needle that attaches to the syringe.
Bevel Tip
the point of the needle

Luer Lock
type of syringe where the needle is physically screwed in.
Slip Tip
type of syringe where the needle slides onto the end. This is never to be used to prepare chemotherapy medication.
