The state of complete physical, mental and social well‐being, not just absence of disease.

connection between growing, harvesting, cooking, eating is lost

Acculturation -

the process by which groups and individuals adapt to the norms and values of another culture

Globalization -

• Integration of local, regional and national phenomena into unrestricted worldwide organization. • Parallel change in cultural food habits is consumerization - Societies are now consumers of mass乚produced foods.

Modernization -

• New technologies result in economic shifts such as industrial revolution and the information age. • Results in commoditization - shift from homemade to manufactured foods, shopping over the internet.
