LL
Power Transfer Relay will transfer the 115 VAC alarm and control relays for the 1PA05J Cabinet to the Standby power voltage regulator on a loss of the Normal power regulator output The DC Power Supplies may trip and lockup on overvoltage due to a transient. To reset this condition, it will be necessary to interrupt AC power for at least 30 seconds, in accordance with the procedure. This also applies to 1PA08J.
5J interlocks?
They're different and always on, and they are located in the cabinet.
8J lights?
1 - Different power sources are used for adjacent lights in important areas, especially in the Auxiliary Building, the Containment and the Main Control Room. 2 - Load centers serving safety-related loads are located, in and supplied from Class 1E Motor Control Centers. Standby Lighting Panels are also powered from Class 1E MCCs. 3 - Emergency Lighting is supplied from highly reliable DC Motor Control Centers. 4 - Regular, Standby, and Emergency Lighting Systems have separate conduit systems.
Different flowpaths to lighting.
8hrs. MCR & stairwell from 800' Control to 737' 781' AB at the RSP Div. 1 DG Room 825' Control by VC
How long do Safe Shutdown Emergency lightning batteries last for? Location?
Six
How many ELC lighting cabinets are there?
244. •FW Heater Level Transmitters •CB Pump Flow Transmitters •Main Condenser Vacuum Pressure Transmitter •CY Tank Level Transmitter •SSE Tube Pressure Transmitter •LP Heater 2B Level Trip Unit
How many sensors and what kinds interface with the 08J?
No, many 480 VAC MCC include a 120/220v general distribution for lighting and low voltage loads.
Is there one bus or power supply for LL?
Regulated Voltage Cabinets fed off of MCC. Similar to LL except regulator is used to maintain voltage. HP Count Room Chemistry Lab 120 VAC Fire Protection Distribution Panel Instrument buses for Control Room HVAC Regulated instrument panels on MCCs
What are RVC?
[Loss of FW, all CD/CB/FW min flow valves fail open, emergency drains fail open, etc.]
What could happen if 5j/8j is lost?
Normal station lighting is provided by the Regular Lighting Cabinets (RLC) from Auxiliary Power. They step down power from 6.9 or 4160 through transformer, to 480 to 120/208v
What is an RLC and its purpose?
It controls the miscellaneous automatic control systems it has two available power sources: 1) Normal Instrument Power, into CB1, 120 VAC, is supplied from the 208/120 VAC Instrumentation Distribution Panel, Circuit 24, in 480 VAC CB MCC 1C 2)Standby Instrument Power, to CB2, 120 VAC, is supplied from 208/120 VAC Distribution Panel 3B, Circuit 20, in 480 VAC CB MCC D. The 120 VAC lighting circuit, to CB3, is supplied from Regular Lighting Cabinet 149, Circuit AA.
What is the 1PA05J and its power sources?
The 08J supplies to BOP sensors and transducers. Power comes from four 120 VAC Circuits to breaker box inside panel. The two main sources of power to 1PA08J come from different circuits on the same MCCs as for 1PA05J. There is also a lighting power supply same as the 1PA05J
What is the 1PA08J and it's power sources?
-Provides low voltage power for miscellaneous equipment -Supplies normal, standby, and emergency lighting requirements -Supplies regulated low voltage for instrumentation and control of plant systems
What is the purpose of LL-Lighting and Low volt?
DC MCCs. These also supply emergency lighting and exit signs
What powers the ELC?
Class 1E MCCs supply the Standby Lighting Cabinets (SLC). 480 VAC Buses (Unit Subs) on the 4.16 KV Class 1E buses.
What powers the SLC?
1)Loss of AC- loss of input of CB MCC 1C 2)Loss of DC-misleading can be from loss of AC source or Standby source, if other one still work will still be providing 24v from auctioneer. 3)Loss of Standby AC - Loss of input of CB MCC 1D 4) Loss of Standby DC - same logic as other DC
at 1PA05J what are the 4 alarm lights?
