Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Largest and most liberal synod. Casket is placed perpendicular to the altar. Like Catholics. Accepting of cremation.

Amish
Founded by Jacon Ammann. Urged simplicity and uniformity and discouraged motorized vehicles and the trimming of beards.

Old Order Amish
Known for extreme conservative views. Use horse drawn wagon and buggies as transportation to cemetery and church.

Local customs dictate a lot of this. Service may be deterred due to church.
