School Details

Include the name and location of the institution on the first line and area of study and graduation date on the second line. If still attending, put date started to present. All proper nouns are capitalized.

Job details

Put the company name, job title and location on the first line. Put responsibilities in bullet points below. All proper nouns are capitalized. Your most recent job is listed first.

Skills and knowledge that can be applied to accomplishing work tasks

action verb

These types of words make your key abilities and attributes jump off the page.

Career Summary/Objective

This section expresses your career goals or your interest in a specific position or line of work.The job you would like, in the industry you are best suited for, and the tasks you would like to perform.

Education

This section lists a summary of your experience in higher education. Schools that you have attended or graduated from. Your most recent school goes first.

Work Experience

This section of the resume lists your work experience, accomplishments and responsibilities from prior jobs. This can also include volunteer job positions.

Why you are writing. This is "the grab," your chance to grasp your reader by the collar and get his attention

3rd paragraph of cover letter

Your closing. Summarize what you would bring to the position and suggest next steps by requesting a meeting or suggesting a call
