Nebula

1st stage. What all stars start as. A large cloud of gas and dust. 1ST STAGE

Supernova

A dying red supergiant can suddenly explode, a supernova AFTER RED SUPER GIANT

Main Sequence Star

A star is born when the gas and dust from a nebula become so hot that nuclear fusion starts, creates main sequence star. Most stars are in this stage, it takes up 90% of their life. High/low/medium mass AFTER PROTOSTAR

Neutron Star

After a supernova, some materials of stars are left behind. Materials can form a neutron star- remains of high-mass stars AFTER A SUPERNOVA A

Planetary Nebula

After low/medium mass star has become a red giant, outer parts grow bigger and drift into space, forms planetary nebula. AFTER RED GIANT

Protostar

Earliest stage of star's life. Made when gravity pulls some of the gas & dust in a nebula together. Can be high/low/medium mass AFTER NEBULA

White Dwarf

The blue-white hot core of the star that is left behind and cools AFTER PLANETARY NEBULA

Black Holes

What the most massive stars become when they die. A large amount of mass may remain after a large mass star explodes, gravity of mass so strong that gas is pulled inward, pulling more gas into a smaller and smaller space. Eventually, gravity becomes so strong not even light can escape AFTER A SUPERNOVA B

Red Super Giant

When a main sequence star begins to run out of hydrogen fuel, a high mass star becomes a red supergiant. AFTER MAIN SEQUENCE STAR

Red Giant

When a main sequence star begins to run out of hydrogen fuel, a low/medium mass star becomes a red giant. AFTER MAIN SEQUENCE STAR

Black Dwarf

When the white dwarf eventually runs out of fuel and dies AFTER WHITE DWARF
