Maajaaz lughawee

(linguistic metonymy) use of a word (or more) to mean other than its primary linguistic meaning

(70:15-17) No, never! for indeed, it is the fire of hell, eager to roast, it calls him who turned an fled (from the truth)

The first element is Haqeeqee while the second is majazee. The fire is real, but its calling is debatable (majaazee)

(101:9)He will have his home in Haawiyah

The first element is majaazee while the second is haqeeqee (Haawiyah is a name for the pit of hell in the sense how a mother cares for a child, the child will always come back. likewise, the fire will surround the kufr and when they try to escape they will be brought back)

Both elements are majaazee (metaphorical)

Shar'ee Haqeeqah:

Sharee'ah took arabic words and gave them special meanings when used in their context (ex: Salah original meaning: supplication)
