He wrote back how hard it was and months dragged on with no agreements! They still preserved and approved 12 aammendments.

Newspapers ,blogs, news websites are all government watchers. They believe citizens should informed. With out what we call free press we wouldn't have self governing state that was democratic. Free press was their protection from government rule. 1735 Zenger had printed a paper on how he thinks the Gov. Of NYC took bribes. He was arrested. They told him it was illeagal to damamage the good govs. name even if Zenger was correct. He was freed when his lawyer stepped in . Freedom of press also brought people with the responsibility to not post false things or post things that will help and emeny in war. Freedom of speech also brings responsibility. Even though 1st amendment protects the right to speak freely in public places the right isn't justified. Surpreme sets a limit on kinds of speech that endangers others or public safety. Speech is more than words its also symbolic speech or actions taken to express your feelings.
